Frequently asked questions
FAQ'S
It’s an 8-day, 7-night trip around the Northern Ionian islands on Entre Cielos, a 31-metre luxury gulet. You visit Sivota, Parga, Antipaxos, Gaios and Lakka on Paxos, starting and ending in Corfu. It suits travellers who want quiet bays, swimming in clear water and a higher level of comfort than a standard cruise.
The cruise departs every Saturday from the 1st week of May until the 3rd week of October. Check-in is at 17:00 at Corfu Old Port
The cruise ends on the following Saturday. Check-out is at 09:00 in Corfu.
You unpack once and keep the same cabin all week. You don’t have to haul luggage between ferries or wait in crowded ports. You also reach small bays and beaches the big ferries can’t get to, and the crew handles everything.
Commercial Island hopping, would mean standing for hours in line, just to boat your ferry,
traveling with other thousands of people, sometimes for many hours without truly being comfortable during the trip, absurd time schedules,
as most commercial ferries have crazy embarkation/disembarkation schedules (sometimes as early, as 04:00 in the morning).
Additionally, during commercial Island hopping, you won’t have any standard accommodation for that period, which means that you will be carrying your luggage everywhere you go, without the possibility of leaving them somewhere stress-free.
On the other hand, traveling with us, on your own private gulet, would mean, overwhelming comfort due to the fact, that you will have the same accommodation for the whole trip’s duration! Of course, plenty of storage to leave your luggage and belongings, without the fear of losing anything,
as our crew never leaves the ship.
This means that your belongings will be safe, throughout the week you will be traveling with us! And also, besides the cruising hours, there is no other major time restriction, so you will have plenty of time, to do whatever you want!
The whole cruise runs on Entre Cielos, one of the premium gulets in the fleet. You get spacious en-suite cabins, air conditioning around the clock, luxury meals prepared on board by your chef, and a small group of guests.
Entre Cielos has 5 cabins: 2 master cabins with king-size beds, 2 triple cabins and 1 double cabin. Every cabin has its own en-suite bathroom with a shower, air conditioning, storage space and large windows. Fresh linen and towels are provided.
Up to about 12 guests. The small group size keeps the atmosphere relaxed and personal.
The A/C, operates up to 6 hours, per day (if of course, it is permitted by the government’s Covid regulations) from 8 am till midnight and is already included in your cruise package.
Please note, that the A/C works only when the generator is working at the exact same time. Though, due to local regulations, the normal generator must be turned off, after midnight on various ports, except the silent ones, that we use after midnight.
The power supply, from the shore at the ports of Corfu, Kassiopi, Sivota and Gaios (due to their weak infrastructure), is not powerful enough to operate all our A/C units, simultaneously. Thus you must keep in mind, that there are possibly hot nights, especially during mid June, July, August and mid September, where the A/C, does not work after midnight and many of our guests decide to sleep on board, under the stars! If you are not prepared to do that, we strongly suggest to include our overnight a/c & fan service.
For our guests that are interested to operate their a/c and fan after midnight, we provide an optional collateral service, that costs 140 euros per person per week and if you decide to purchase it, you will be able to use your ac unit in your cabin, from midnight till 8 am. This service must be pre-booked and cannot be purchased while on board. Please keep in mind, that all our cabins are equipped with independent electric fans, as well, hence when our boats are connected to the shore’s power supply, our fans can work properly, during the night, as well.
Luxury meals are included on board, freshly prepared by the chef every day
Yes. Tell us about any vegetarian, vegan, allergy or other dietary needs when you book, and the chef will plan around them.
Yes. Drinks are available on board but aren’t included in the cruise price. Ask us about drink packages.
Prices are reasonable on most of the islands. A traditional taverna meal usually costs around 10–20 € and a drink around 5–10 €. Parga and Paxos are a little more expensive in high season.
Yes. There’s a mandatory port fee of 250 € per person, which covers marina fees and local taxes. Flights, travel insurance, drinks, optional excursions and pre- or post-cruise hotels aren’t included either.
No. Transfers to and from Corfu Old Port aren’t included, but we’re happy to recommend taxi or transfer options.
Power is available on board for phones, cameras and laptops. We recommend bringing a European plug adapter and a power bank for days ashore.
Whenever you like. Every cabin has its own en-suite bathroom with a shower.
Yes. Free mobile-data Wi-Fi is available on board, though signal can be weaker in some remote bays.
Yes, we strongly recommend it. Your policy should cover cancellation, medical care and lost luggage, because none of these are covered in the cruise price. produced on board, by our generator or when the boat is docked at a port and there is electricity supply available. Having said that, please keep in mind that the 220V is not available on board 24/7, hence we always suggest to bring power bands on board, to charge your mobile or other electrical devices.
Note: It is mandatory to know this beforehand, as the electrical items/devices you want to bring on board, need to agree, with this specification.
Corfu International Airport (CFU) has direct flights from most European cities in summer. You can also arrive by ferry from Italy or from Igoumenitsa on the Greek mainland.
The airport is only about 10–15 minutes by taxi from Corfu Old Port.
We recommend it, especially if you’re flying long-haul. It removes the stress of flight delays and gives you time to explore Corfu Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Add whether early luggage drop-off is possible.
As on most boats, toilet paper shouldn’t go into the toilet, because marine plumbing blocks easily. Use the bins provided. The crew will explain everything on day one.
Smoking isn’t allowed in cabins or indoor areas.
Relaxed and casual. Swimwear and light summer clothes during the day, smart-casual for evenings ashore. Please wear soft-soled shoes or go barefoot on deck.
As personal privacy, is of paramount importance to us, we cannot provide you with any of your fellow travelers’ details, prior to your actual cruise day.
However, if you are interested to meet other people that travel on the same tour as you, feel free,
to head to our Facebook page and introduce yourself to our lovely community!
The crew speaks English and Greek.
