We offer a wide variety of additional excursions which will extend your experience of Greece and offer a different and exciting perspective of the ports you’ll be visiting in the Ionian Islands.
The following Sail in Greece excursions can be arranged when you first arrive on your ship , and depending on availability, can even be arrange during your cruise or when you book your spot online by pre booking excursions and receiving a discount . All excursions that are not pre booked are payable in cash locally with the service provider – so make sure you have enough Euros before you depart!
Sivota Cooking Class
You will arrive at Syvota at about 13:00pm.The cooking class will operate at 17:00pm and it will last at about two and a half hours.The restaurant for the cooking lesson is exactly at the port.”Ostria Restaurant”.A person from the tour will accompany you their. You will cook at an outdoor place at the restaurant.On the tables you can find the materials.You will cook at an outside outdoor wood oven, each of you at your own clay your own share.You will cook juvette or eggplants with cheese and meatballs or musaka etc.Also you will make Greek salad and tzatziki.You will taste your food at a big table.If you choose to sit separate with your friends you can use more tables.Of course you will enjoy your welcome drink that it will be tsipouro with meze. In case you will be hungry earlier you will be able to find ready food at the restaurant to eat. No drinks are included.

In ancient Greek mythology, Acheron was known as the “river of woe”, and was one of the five rivers of the Greek underworld. The word is of uncertain etymology.In the Homeric poems, the Acheron was described as a river of Hades, into which Cocytus and Phlegethon both flowed. The Roman poet Virgil called it the principal river of Tartarus, from which the Styx and Cocytus both sprang. The newly dead would be ferried across the Acheron by Charon in order to enter the Underworld.

Parga Wine Tasting
When you will arrive you will have the opportunity to admire a unique Wine Tasting, to enhance your senses and immerse yourself into the world of Greek wine and culture. The workshop is taking place in a specially designed area in the museum. Thus, providing the ideal setting as the charming atmosphere and the idyllic backdrop will enhance your experience
The Wine Tasting features six different wines. In an effort to present the best of the region, the tasting includes red, rose and white wines as well as dry, sweet and sparkling ones, in order to cover all individual tastes. Each and every wine is produced in the Islands of the Ionian Sea, the Western and North-Western parts of Greece. These regions are particularly significant for Greek wine production and showcase a notable reputation.
During the Wine Tasting experience, you will have the chance to discover the flavors and varieties, and learn interesting information about the labels, the grapes and the wine culture of the area. The experience will be guided by a professional wine expert who will be in charge to ensure a smooth, informative and fun activity. By the end of your wine tasting, you will have the chance to accompany a glass of wine with a freshly made and tasteful meze.

Corfu Bus Tour
Coach tour, you will first visit the KOUM KOUAT Distillery where you will be able to watch a short presentation of the distil process of the koum kouat, as well as taste the liqueurs. Next stop Achilleion Palace, the 19th century summer palace of the Empress Elizabeth of Austria, famous for its spectacular gardens, next photo stop at Mouse island view, followed by a panoramic drive through Corfu town, the Old Harbour, the Old Venetian Castle (14th cent), to the Esplanade Square – the largest in the Balkans and a walking guided tour of the historic center of the Old Corfu Town (UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE) and its main monuments ( the San Giacomo Town Hall, the Duomo), also visiting the 16th century Church of St. Spyridon, the Protector Saint of the island.

The Achilleion Palace is an late 19th century mansion, built in tribute to the favourite Greek mythological hero of the Empress, Achilleus, adorned with statues and paintings specially commissioned by Italian and Austrian artists of the era, set amidst a large green estate commanding spectacular views over Corfu town and the south east coast of the island.
OLD CORFU TOWN:
The historic Medieval Town of Corfu – UNESCO World Heritage Listed (July 2007), was built by the Venetians in the 14th century, with its high-storey pastel-coloured tenements, narrow cobbled-stonedserpentine streets known as “kandounia” and charming little “piazzas” (squares) crammed with cafés, will captivate you with its unique beauty and cosmopolitan charm.

Corfu Greek Night
Excursion Dinner in Corfu Town with traditional Greek dancers
After a walk through the very romantic old town of Corfu, we reach the famous tavern AGORA one of the oldest taverns in the old town/port, in which you have the opportunity to enjoy the traditional dances and the traditional dishes of Corfu, giving you an unforgettable last night.
Menu includes a choice of one main course Pastitsada (veal with red sauce)
or Sofrito (veal with garlic sauce) and shared dishes are Greek salad, Tsatsiki, Tyrokayteri (Cheesesalad),Kolokythokeftedes(pumkinballs).
